Cheeseburger Crunchwrap

Our next edition of Leftover creations will be the cheese burger crunchwrap. I really didn’t have any plan going into this one. I’ve mention before, I tend to snap photos of every meal as I create ’em, just in case they pop and I think I should make a post about it. This is absolutely one of those times. I have a few things on deck at all times – salsa, hot sauce, tortillas, cheese. That’s just everyday ForensicBBQ. And it’s not too far off from MrsForensicBBQ either – she does the cheese more than I do I think.

The Prep Table

No need to dress it up, it’s leftovers.

Add whatever you want to your cheeseburger crunchwrap. For me, It was more texmex, I wanted some salsa and hot sauce, but if you wanted to do a thousand island – big mac sauce kind of crunchwrap, I’m sure it’ll be just as delicious.

The Process\

Ain’t no crunchwrap without some crunch

Super lame, but I gotta add at least some crunch. We’re going to do a tortilla chip to accomplish the task. Reheated the burger on a skillet, added the lettuce/tortilla.. and let’s keep going.

Can’t have enough onion

Salsa, hot sauce, onion to finish it up and we’re good to wrap. Now, pro-tip. Always do it fold-side down to start. You can burn the shit of it, it really won’t matter. We want that thing sealed. Even when you think it’s sealed, it will still peel up because tortillas are tortillas and gravity is gravity. Fill it how you want, then let’s get it to the skillet.

When you think it’s good – do another 3-5 min.\
Cheeseburgers need fries.

I don’t do normal ketchup anymore. It always needs a little bit of extra. Salsa, hot sauce, sriracha.. doesn’t matter. A spicy ketchup is so much better than any ketchup. I think Heinz stopped doing their habanero blend (tragic) – but you can always rely on Melinda’s!

The Result\

Exceptional leftover meal

Do this. Y’all had a bunch of leftover burgers for America’s 250. You’ll have leftovers because summer is still happening. Crunchwrap style never disappoints. I left the pickles separate because the cool chill of the pickle on a hot burger is a great match. Put one on when you take a bite. Thanks for checking out the Cheeseburger Crunchwrap. We’ll see you next week!
