Sizzler Series: Breakfast Sandwich

The last of our St ehouwer’s Sizzler series is the one they put front and center on their packaging. They want you to make a Breakfast Sizzler. I made a Breakfast Sizzler. And when you read the packaging, “Seasoned pork and beef pattie between slices of beef ribeye”, there’s no reason that it wouldn’t work as breakfast sandwich. Let me do it, read it, and do it yourselves, because you’re going to want to.

The Prep Table

First recipe, they’re proud of it.

Our Sizzler series posts are short and sweet because they should be. It’s a cook-from-frozen product, that is meant for a quick-fix. We’re going to do sizzler sandwiches and add bacon and egg. That’s it. Sure, we’ll sprinkle some salt and pepper on there, because we’re civilized – but these aren’t meant to be $20-$30 meals. Stehouwers knows what they are and what they’re not. Let’s not put perfume on a pig.

The Process

Eggs two ways, simple bacon.

I made mention in previous posts, I’m not a yolk fan. I’m team-scramble all day. Mix it up is way better than runny yolk. In my opinion. That being said, I’m working for you, so I’ll give it a whirl. It really is this simple. Dress up your griddle as I did, and 5-10min later, you got meals.

Love the cheese imprint on there. Oops!

Kraft singles on our sizzler’s. Eggs are cooked nicely, our buns are toasted and the bacon is sizzling. We live in a great time.

The Result

The Stehouwer’s Breakfast Sizzler.

Of course, I preferred the scrambled egg, but the fried egg was just as delicious. That pattie is delicious and when you cook from frozen, you sacrifice the healthy for convenience. Know what you’re getting into. Not a bad idea to keep these in the freezer for those weeks I find myself in when you have little time, but still want to cook. Not everything can be hours-long smokes.

Thank you Stehouwers, I appreciate you, I hope you appreciate the showcase!
