Holiday Break!

Sorry y’all, no recipes or write-ups this week. Or next week. Still working on updating the posts – clean things up a bit. Here’s what’s on my list:

I’m going to take these two weeks and get some of the older posts up to standard. I’ve adopted, and it seems to work relatively well, the “Prep Table/Process/Result/Recipe” method. I’ve integrated the Recipe cards for a lot of the newer posts, so I have to go back and do it for the older ones (Jeez, if I can even remember). Only three left to go, I think!

There’s also some formatting issues that need addressed. The entire site is done on a MacBook, after work, between 6p-10p for the most part – largely aimed at the desktop view. Most of you float in from Instagram – or your phones – and it’s really not the best look on mobile. I’ll try to get some of that squared away and looking clean too.

I’m going to try to do some migrations to other platforms. I wanted to integrate Facebook with the Instagram – but honestly, I hate the big tech conglomerates. It bothers me to give them any kind of publicity. I’m going to shitcan the Facebook idea and slowly move away from Instagram – but I’m not there yet.

If there’s any sincere interest into contributing to this venture, I’m open to giving you some space here to add your cooks. Obviously right now, we have my cooks (smoked foods/blackstone) on Fridays, my wife’s Veggie foods on Mondays – so if someone wants to post some cooks – I’ll listen.
